Why do you call your blog Fashion Lollipop?
Lollipops are sweet and colourful and I wanted a fun way of representing my style and bubbly personality.
What is your blog about?
Fashion, lifestyle and my take on the latest styles – it is about things I love to talk about from TVprogrammes, special events, exercise and my home – I always speak from the heart!
How would you describe your style?
Why did your start your blog?
After I got married I wanted to move on from my career in fashion marketing and so I started my blog in 2012 - not really knowing where it would take me. My friends would always ask for shopping and style advice – often wanting to buy what I was wearing, I am pretty good at shopping for unique stuff! I wanted to put everything Ilove and my style in one place and one year later FashionLollipop.com has an established and growing readership.
Why did you choose to pursue fashion?
I've always been a fashionista!
Who is your biggest style inspiration?
My mother! She enjoys being glamourous and stylish incolours and growing up my mum would always dress me in big hats, dresses and accessories. I also admire Jennifer Lopez for her style and I cut out my favorite looks from magazines for inspiration. Growing up in the Middle East has greatly influenced my style and love for glamorous Evening Wear.
Best moment of your career?
Being featured on E! News was very exciting. Also collaborations with designers and hosting special events with designers that I admire has been amazing.
Favorite item of clothing in your wardrobe right now?
Shoes! Definitely! I style my outfits around the shoes I want to wear for a specific event.
