Lui's Rules Of Style For London Fashion Week '14

In lead up to the biggest event of February in London, here's our advice on how to stay calm and collected whilst you dash from show to show - in Lui's style of course.

Philip Lim
1.In a nod to our post on our top upcoming trends, flats are still high on the list & can sometimes be the only way to realistically last for the entirety of Fashion Week. Our favourite is the brogue - comfortable, sleek and elegant but fit for a long day on your feet.

Burberry
2.If there's one thing women's fashion needs - its practicality. It seems there's one trend this season which is actually in our favor and that's the Blouse. A classic mens shirt with a feminine twist - the long sleeves will allow you the comfort of a thermal which is essential in this blistering cold.

3.Unless we're blessed with the sun like we were in September, you can always distract yourself from the dreary weather with some lashings of colour in your outfit - plus colour is proven to lighten your mood and you've got a higher chance of being snapped! what more could you want?

4.Coffee may never go out of style, but as health concious as we all are these days, there's one combo that's a must have for a long day on your feet! VitaCoco have mixed their delicious Coconut water with milk and coffee - there's your double bonus once more!

5.Sometimes after days in a row of wanting to look your best gets tiring, that's why a BB cream is a blessing in disguise. Sponsor of LFW, Mac, do a brilliant one - all to keep you looking your flawless self!

6.If there's one thing that is more important than the rest, it has got to be your Iphone. What's even more important is a portable charger just in case! Amongst the other top tips on how to stay sane over the busy week we hope this resonates with you as a true Lui's girl. Let us know what we've missed

Hope to see you there!
